Araselei is a practicing visual artist and small business owner born in San Antonio, Texas.  Her work focuses on the relationship between women, culture, whimsy and the reality around her. She incorporates nature and spiritual practices into her work to provoke connection with her audiences. Her journey began in 2019, the year after she decided to stop pursuing a degree in Kinesiology.

Araselei always maintained a fruitful relationship with the arts and often dabbled back and forth between painting and acting. During her early twenties she studied acting in Los Angeles. By this point in her life, she had already sold around 10 commissions between San Antonio and Los Angeles and knew that she’d eventually circle back to creating fine arts. Up until 2024, she debated how to take her work and her business to the next level and when she moved to Minneapolis in the same year, Araselei decided that going back to school was her main focus and by that spring semester of 2025, she enrolled herself at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design where she is currently working to obtain her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting.
